Justin “Scaduto” – Founder and Owner of Scaduto Solutions
Justin, better known as Scaduto, is the visionary founder and owner of Scaduto Solutions LLC. With over 25 years of experience in the construction and roofing industry, Justin transformed his expertise, passion, and commitment into his own company in 2022.
From the start, Scaduto Solutions was built on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and hard work—principles that remain at the core of everything the company does. This “honest human” philosophy sets Scaduto Solutions apart from other companies, creating a culture of trust and transparency that clients can rely on.
Although the journey is just beginning, Justin and his team are grateful for the opportunity to serve their clients and look forward to building lasting relationships along the way.

Justin attributes much of his success to his wife, Kelli Jo, who works tirelessly behind the scenes to support everything Scaduto Solutions does. Together they are very proud parents of five amazing children.
Q: What was your dream job as a kid?
A: I wanted to be a fighter jet pilot. Top Gun is my favorite movie, so that dream was definitely inspired by it!
Q: Who was your biggest inspiration growing up?
A: Dave Mirra and Rick Moliterno, two prominent figures in the BMX community. BMX has been a huge part of my life, and I credit it for much of my physical and mental endurance. Even now, I spend weekends at the Rockford BMX track racing with my daughters. It’s a family passion and a constant source of motivation for me.
Q: What was the hardest part of transitioning from employee to business owner?
A: Taking care of my “village.” As an employee, I only had to worry about myself—my work, my needs. Now, as a business owner, I have a whole team to think about. It’s a huge responsibility, but it’s also a motivator that pushes me to work harder every day.
Q: What’s your favorite tool?
A: My 22-year-old hammer, my new Dewalt cordless roofing nailer, and my trusty Occidental tool belt.
Q: What sets you apart from other roofing business owners?
A: I can’t speak for all other business owners, but for me, the biggest difference is that I truly started from the ground up. I’ve done everything—from setting trusses on new construction and picking up shingles on job sites to performing repairs, operating forklifts, and even door-knocking to support my family. Even now, I still get on roofs and do hands-on work. Knowing every aspect of the job firsthand makes a big difference.
Q: If you could give advice to your 10-year-old self, what would it be?
A: Read more and try harder in school. I’m incredibly thankful for where I am in life, but I think putting in more effort back then might have made the journey a bit easier.
Q: What do you want yourself and Scaduto Solutions to be remembered for?
A: I want Scaduto Solutions to be remembered for our honest reputation—that we always did the right thing for our clients and truly earned their trust. Personally, I want to be remembered as a great husband, a good dad, and someone with an honest, hardworking legacy.

Jacob Scaduto - at just 20 years old, Jacob has already spent most of his life around construction, roofing, and the day-to-day hustle of the family business. Growing up as Scaduto's son & the only boy out of 5 kids, Jacob learned early on what hard work, honesty, and dedication truly look like—not just from a classroom, but from real job sites, real homeowners, and real experience.
Jacob attended the University of Dubuque where he played football before ultimately deciding to return home and fully commit himself to the family business and the future of Scaduto Solutions. Since then, he has quickly become one of the company’s top sales representatives and a dependable right-hand man both in the office and out in the field. From traveling to St. Louis for storm restoration work to helping homeowners through the insurance process firsthand, Jacob continues to grow his knowledge and passion for the industry every single day.
What sets Jacob apart is his genuine ability to connect with people. One of his favorite parts of the job is building relationships with homeowners, hearing their stories, and helping guide them through stressful situations with honesty and confidence. He takes pride in standing up for homeowners during the insurance process and helping “the good guys win” when families truly need someone in their corner.
Driven, loyal, and eager to continue learning, Jacob’s motivation comes from both his ambition for the future and his desire to build a successful life of his own. As he transitions into adulthood and life on his own, his work ethic, integrity, and commitment to growth continue to make him an important part of the Scaduto Solutions team and family legacy.
At Scaduto Solutions, Jacob represents the next generation of the company’s “honest human” approach—bringing energy, determination, and genuine care to every homeowner he works with. Outside of work Jacob enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, working out, golfing, fishing, & hanging out with friends.
